Leadership

Kevin & Joanne Hardwidge

Originally from Bristol, Kevin had a life-changing encounter with Jesus while studying at university in Cardiff. After completing his degree, as well as a year at Bible College, he moved to Manchester in 2004. Kevin and his wife Joanne were part of a group of 27 people sent from King’s Church in Manchester to form New Life Church here in Salford in 2008.

Kevin longs to experience more of the presence and power of God in the life of the church. He’s excited to be part of building a mature community of people from all nations and backgrounds that will one day bring back King Jesus. Kevin is a gifted teacher of the Word of God and is passionate about seeing Christ fully formed in the church.

Kevin currently works as a maths teacher in a secondary school as well as serving on the New Life leadership team. Kevin and Joanne live here in Salford with their young daughter.

David & Hannah Knight

David became a member of King’s Church in Manchester in the summer of 2004 and met Hannah a few years later when she moved from All Nations Church in Cardiff. Hannah was one of the founding members of New Life Church and was joined by David before they got married. David has been involved in leading worship, preaching and teaching since becoming a Christian at the age of fourteen. He continues to serve in these ways as part of New Life. He has previously been involved in missionary teams working in the Philippines, Uganda and Rwanda. He has a strong heart to see the poor provided for and all believers living in the freedom of the love of Christ.

As well as serving on the church leadership team, David works as a community liaison officer with a company providing services to local government. Hannah is our church administrator.

Richard & Judith Anniss

Richard came to Manchester as a university student in 1993. He soon became a part of King’s Church and knew straight away that he had found where he belonged. It was in King’s Church that he met and married his wife, Judith. Having steadily grown in his gifting and calling, Richard was recognised as an elder and was then later asked to lead the eldership team of the Church. Richard, Judith and their three children continue to be based in King’s Church inManchester but they are also very much part of our church family and the leadership team here at New Life. In particular, Richard has an apostolic role towards us. He helps us to remain true to our identity as God’s sons and daughters sent by Jesus to represent him and make him famous. He longs to see a bold and powerful church proclaiming and demonstrating the presence and rule of God here on earth and much of his preaching and teaching is on this subject.
