History

On Sunday 2nd March 2008, 27 pioneering men and women were prayed for, commissioned and sent from King’s Church Manchester into the city of Salford to become a brand new church community. God gave us a prophetic picture of a tall ship sailing into Salford Quays and unloading its own distinctive cargo onto the quayside. The Lord told us that he wanted to work through us as a community to add something to the fantastic work that he was already doing through his church in Salford.

Since being planted into the city of Salford we have grown in maturity and number. We have developed into a vibrant community that is beginning to bring its own ‘distinctive cargo’ to the city.
